Where and how to sign in/register for online learning

Google Classroom Platform Basics to turning in work
-
Google Classroom syncs with Google Drive. Google associated assignments from the teacher will be shared with students in the form of a Google Document, Google Spreadsheet, Google Slide, or Google form The students will most often receive an individual copy to write on to complete their work. It is crucial that your child clicks TURN IN AFTER they have completed their work for the teacher to view. If students accidentally Turn In their work before they are done, they can easily retrieve it by clicking UNSUBMIT (Please see video #3 above). The teacher will check the work and then return it. If the student needs to make corrections they can do so after it has been returned to them. Once corrections are made the student should click TURN IN again.
Due dates for student assignments.
-
Assignment due dates are assigned to various lessons posted in Google Classroom. You and your child can see these due dates in various places. They appear on the left hand side of the stream page and also in your child's Google Calendar. Google Calendar can be accessed by clicking the "waffle" or 9 dot square in the top right hand corner on the Google page. (Please see video #1)
